Magic Uncorked (Monday, November 17th, 6-9pm), $30

$30.00

Our quarterly magic show has officially become a thing, with every single show having sold out! We’re delighted to host returning magicians as well as a new headliner for an evening of wonder and joy. You’ll enjoy walkaround and close-up magic in the bar for an hour and a half before heading into the Vinum Lounge for a seated show of parlor magic. Here is some information about the magicians:

LOUIE FOXX

Louie is the consummate kid that never grew up and it’s evident as you watch him interact with audiences of all ages. He is living his childhood dream of being a magician.

As a kid he realized that he excelled at all of the things that adults told him were a waste of time. Instead of playing baseball in high school, Louie built himself a rickety table and rode the bus into downtown to perform magic tricks on the street corner and got paid by “passing the hat”. He’s come a long way since then.

The Society of American Magicians voted Louie The Best Stage Magician and Best Close-Up Magician in Minnesota in 1996. Within the magic community Louie is known as a magic trick inventor, having published over 100 unique magic tricks! He also creates and fabricates props that have been used by Sofia Vegara in the Movie Machete Kills, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Shanghai Disneyland and hundreds of magicians around the world!

Louie is also a Two Time Guinness World Record Holder and has been on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, The CW Network’s Masters of Illusion, the Emmy award winning television show How ‘Bout That, Otra Movida TV in Spain, and in London’s Guardian Newspaper!

When not performing onstage Louie is an avid hockey fan and spends way too much time training his cat to do tricks!

T.J. NEWTON

TJ’s journey into magic began with the charm of early variety television shows that inspired him as a child. By his teens he was mentored by a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and earned a spot in both his mentor’s magic club and the Pacific Coast Association of Magicians by age fifteen.

From that humble beginning, he quickly became a staple in his community, performing for private parties and teaming with a young talented juggler and best friend performing under the name “TJ and Thompson.” Together they performed for audiences including fairs and other public events in the area.

After shifting focus to theater, TJ performed on stages along Oregon’s North Coast from the early ’90s until his move to Oregon City in 2022. His theatrical experiences include a small role in the television show Leverage and training in improvisation, character development and acting at the Portland Actors Conservatory.

Now after 40 years from when it all began TJ is circling back to his first love of performance: magic.  He brings with him a wealth of storytelling and comedic timing he has honed through those many years on the stage.

TJ’s magic promises to entertain and enthrall audiences as he attempts to impart on them the same sense of wonder and excitement as when he saw his very first magical performance as a child.

JOHN STEVENS

John Stevens is a magician and mentalist who goes beyond illusion and weaves them into stories. With a unique blend of mystery, psychology, and theatrical flair, John invites audiences into a world where the impossible becomes a mirror, reflecting the wonder, emotions, and connections we all share.

His performances aren’t just about tricks; they’re about truths—those found in laughter, surprise, and the moments when we all feel part of something bigger. Whether on stage or in an intimate setting, John uses magic as a language to remind us that, at our core, we are more alike than different.

A storyteller at heart and a mind-reader and magician by craft, John doesn’t just entertain—he shows how we all are connected.
