Magic Uncorked (Monday, September 14th, 6-9:30pm), $35

$35.00

Our quarterly magic show has officially become a thing, with every single show having sold out! We’re delighted to host new and returning magicians for an evening of wonder and joy. We’re revamping our format for the next two shows, adding more magicians, and making the experience a bit more intimate. A group of magicians will be performing walkaround magic in the shop and on the patio throughout the evening, and there will be two magicians performing 30 minute seated parlor shows in the “Vinum Lounge” for an intimate crowd of 35 guests. You’ll see each parlor magician once, and enjoy the walkaround magic when you’re not in the lounge.

When you reserve your ticket, you’ll select “Group A” or “Group B” to pick which times you’ll see the seated parlor shows.

T.E. MARTIN

For more than five decades, T. E. Martin has captivated audiences with an extraordinary blend of sleight-of-hand magic, psychological illusion, and mind-bending mentalism. Ted’s journey began at age seven during a visit to the legendary Hollywood Magic Shop in Los Angeles. By fifteen he was mentored by the famed magician Joe Berg at Berg’s Magic Studio on Hollywood Boulevard. By the mid-1970s he was performing professionally and soon became a performing member of the world-renowned Magic Castle in Hollywood, where he developed friendships with legendary magicians including Dai Vernon, Johnny Thompson, and Mark Wilson. Ted later opened his own magic shop, The House of Magic, and has performed at venues including The MGM Grand in Reno and Las Vegas, the iconic Magic Island in Newport Beach, and theaters, comedy clubs, and college campuses across the country. Now based in the Portland area, Ted performs his unique blend of close-up magic and mentalism while also mentoring aspiring magicians and developing original magic effects.

SEREN GOLDSMITH

Award winning magician Seren Goldsmith will leave you laughing and amazed with her unique blend of comedy and magic (science?). Is it really magic, or an example of Clarke's 3rd law? Come judge for yourself! Side effects of experiments may include laughter, confusion, and mild drooling.

JACOB GRIER

Jacob Grier is a close-up magician, writer, and bartender in Portland, Oregon. A frequent street performer at events such as First Thursday in the Pearl and Last Thursday on Alberta, he also performs at private events and can occasionally be found slinging drinks at The Multnomah Whiskey Library. Among other books, he is the coauthor of "Raising the Bar," an acclaimed guide to home bartending.

ROBERT LANE

A second-generation magician born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Robert Lane has  been astonishing audiences with classic sleight of hand for decades. As the resident magician at a Red Robin in Southern Oregon for 20 years, Robert perfected table-side prestidigitation and fast-paced crowd connection across thousands of live interactions. Now based in Portland, he specializes in corporate events, trade shows, and private gatherings across the region—delighting audiences with pure skill, sharp interactive magic, and impossible moments happening right in front of their eyes.

JOHN STEVENS

John Stevens is a magician and mentalist who goes beyond illusion and weaves them into stories. With a unique blend of mystery, psychology, and theatrical flair, John invites audiences into a world where the impossible becomes a mirror, reflecting the wonder, emotions, and connections we all share.

His performances aren’t just about tricks; they’re about truths—those found in laughter, surprise, and the moments when we all feel part of something bigger. Whether on stage or in an intimate setting, John uses magic as a language to remind us that, at our core, we are more alike than different.

A storyteller at heart and a mind-reader and magician by craft, John doesn’t just entertain—he shows how we all are connected.
