Mars Water August First Friday Tasting (Friday, August 7, 5-8pm), $10

$10.00

Blair Whitaker’s wine journey began with some back vintage bottles that his parents saved from their wedding, and became a sommelier while working at Michael Mina’s renowned RN74 in Seattle. As Blair completed an Oenology and Viticulture graduate degree at WSU, Blair trained at Kerloo and Patterson Cellars, which informed his love for crafting wines from a broad variety of grapes. Upon moving to Oregon, Blair continued his training–focusing on Pinot and Chardonnay (duh, because it’s the Willamette Valley)–at 00 Wines, RR Wines, and Keeler, before becoming head winemaker at Lady Hill. Mars Water bottles manifest Blair’s passion for all the grapes. All of them. And also irreverent treatment of classic works of art.

Your ticket will be credited toward the purchase of two bottles from Mars Water.
