We’re thrilled to release our new house wines, lovingly crafted by Diana Schultz of Augustina Cellars and Jonathan Honefenger of Wild Child Wines! Diana made a single barrel co-ferment of Riesling and Chardonnay, called “WeißBlanc” (given that our faves are Burgundy and Germany), and Jonathan’s wine is a whole cluster Gamay Noir. We’re stoked for both of these bottles, and we’re hosting a little release party. Come enjoy a half glass of each wine for $5 (free for OEL club members and a guest), credited toward a purchase of a bottle.
As an added bonus, Jonathan’s cousin is the chef-owner of renowned Lil’ Barbecue; although Ben will be out of town, there will be complimentary brisket while supplies last!
And as a second added bonus, jazz musicians Henry ivie-Gardner and Robert Rodriguez are providing live music for the evening from 5-7.
Henry Ivie-Gardner is a 23 year old guitarist and songwriter currently residing in Portland, Oregon. He is proving a rising force in the PNW music scene, collaborating with musicians Nicole McCabe, Hailey Niswanger (MAE.SUN), Telemakus, Braxton Cook, Cam O’bi, Keith Brown, among others. Henry is a recent graduate of the University of Oregon where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies.
